At First National Bank, we pride ourselves by putting customers first and offering quality financial products along with excellent customer service. You, our customers, are the most important part of our business. Following the transition, we understand you may have questions and we want you to know we welcome your phones calls and visits to any of our offices.

As we begin the transitioning of Security Savings Bank to First National Bank, here are some important details that will help you plan for the transition:

Last Day: 4:00 pm on Friday, August 16th, will be the final cut off for any transactions through Security Savings Bank.

First Day: On Monday, August 19th, the offices in Clarion, Eagle Grove & Goldfield will open for business as First National Bank with regular office hours.  

ATMs:  The ATM machines at the Eagle Grove & Clarion offices will be temporarily out of service starting at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 16th.  The machines will be fully functional on Monday, August 19th.  If you need cash for the weekend, we encourage you to make a withdrawal at a SSB ATM prior to the 2:00 pm cutoff.

Debit Cards:  You should have received your NEW First National Bank debit card within the last 2 weeks.  Your Security Savings Bank debit or ATM card will become inactive at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 16th and your First National Bank debit card will be functional on Monday, August 19th.  If you have questions about activating your new debit card or any other questions regarding your debit card, please call 319.483.4833.

Checks: Your new First National Bank checks should be arriving shortly.  You can begin using these checks Saturday, August 17th and should discontinue use of your Security Savings Bank checks at this time.  All outstanding Security Savings Bank checks will continue to process as normal for a limited time.

Phone Support:  Our transition team will also be ready to address your questions over the phone by calling 319.483.4833.  Phone support will be available 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th.  After hours support will also be available through the month of August, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Office Hours: All offices will close at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 16th and remain closed as we finalize account information and prepare our systems for business on Monday.  Offices will be open for regular business hours beginning Monday, August 19th.  From August 19- August 30, we will also have additional staff on hand during office hours to assist in answering any of your questions.  

Online Banking: You will be receiving a separate letter for Money Connection Online that will include your personalized id and login instructions.  You may login to your online banking account HERE beginning Monday, August 19th.
