Your Debit Card is Getting an Upgrade

What's new with my debit card?

We’re excited to share an upcoming enhancement to your First Bank debit card—designed to give you more control, added security, and improved digital convenience.
 
Effective June 1, 2026, First Bank will transition our card services to a new vendor. This upgrade allows us to offer new card features that put you first, giving you greater visibility and
control over your card activity—right from within First Bank digital banking.
 
These new features and enhancements will include personal, business, and HSA debit cards.
 
To minimize disruption, you may continue using your current card as usual. When your card reaches its expiration date, you’ll automatically receive a new card—no action required.

What this means for you?

You'll receive enhanced security and can easily manage your card controls all within digital banking.
 
This will include the ability to:

• Turn your card on or off instantly
• Report a lost or missing card quickly
• Set up real-time alerts and transaction controls
• Decline specific transaction types
• Block transactions from certain locations—and more
 
PLEASE NOTE:  If you currently use the Shazam Brella app for debit card alerts or person-to-person payments, those settings will stop after May 31, 2026.

New cards issued May 19-31

If you sign up for a new debit card between May 19-31 - first of all CONGRATUATIONS - you made a great decision! Simply make note to reactivate your new card June 1, 2026 by calling 800‑290‑7893. That's it!
